Education
I have a BS degree in Chemistry from Harding University where I graduated in 2008. I am currently a PhD candidate at the University of Arkansas and have completed 4 years. My research focuses on Organic synthesis, natural product/total synthesis in particular.
Experience
I've tutored many students in Organic I/II and have also taught multiple Organic labs and review sessions at the University of Arkansas. I've also trained undergraduate students to do research in the laboratory doing Organic synthesis. I'm currently working at a pharmaceutical company as a co-op doing Medicinal Chemistry R&D. I enjoy helping students to succeed in the classroom as well as helping them to gain an appreciation for Organic Chemistry as a science.
