I firmly believe that everyone can succeed, as long as they put the work in and they have the information easily accessible to them. I am passionate about teaching because I want to tap into each students abilities and help them recognize them. I realize how important education is and believe it should be treated seriously. I know that every student learns differently, so I create lesson plans using numerous teaching methods and techniques. I come from a large family, so I am perfectly fine with people much younger and much older than me. I am very good with time management and organization, so I strive to pass on those skills to every pupil I meet. As far as education and professional experience, I have plenty. Right now I am earning my degree in biochemistry, with a minor in Spanish and education. I originally was pursuing my degree in chemical engineering, however, I decided I wanted a career where I would have more personal interaction and could have a positive impact on the world. I have tutored children in first through eighth grade. I can help with algebra, biology, math, and sciences. I am looking forward to meeting new people. When I am not tutoring, I like to bike, hike, and play instruments.
